Workshop Summary
The Nepal Bankers Association (NBA), in collaboration with Invest for Impact Nepal (IIN), brought together 25 banking professionals for a virtual masterclass on Climate Scenario Analysis and Stress Testing.
Hosted under the Community of Practice (CoP) initiative, the session was led by industry experts Alex MacGillivray (Executive Director, Joint Impact Model) and Aniket Jalgaonkar (Founder, ClimateWyse). Participants walked away with a practical framework for evaluating how climate risks impact specific borrowers, broader economic sectors, and overall portfolios. These assessment tools will help banking professionals to anticipate, manage and build resilience against emerging climate challenges.
