Executive Insights Week: Nepal’s Banking Leaders in Barcelona

Invest for Impact Nepal, in collaboration with the Nepal Bankers’ Association (NBA), facilitated the participation of 11 CEOs from Nepal’s commercial banks in the international seminar Executive Insights Week: Leading Transformation in a Changing World at UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM).

The five-day executive programme focused on leadership, innovation, sustainability, organisational transformation, and change management in today’s rapidly evolving global financial landscape. It also included visits to CaixaBank and FC Barcelona for hands-on exposure to best practices in innovation, institutional culture, customer engagement, and strategic transformation.

For Nepal’s banking sector, it was an opportunity to learn from global peers, swap stories, and think about how to keep evolving.

One CEO summed it up, “It was one of the best learning experiences of my banking career. Thanks to UPF Barcelona School of Management and NBA for organising such a wonderful programme.”
